The White brodiaea (Triteleia hyacinthina) belongs to belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed on the Pacific side of North America, from British Columbia in Canada to northern California and Nevada in the United States. It grows in vacant lots of grasslands and forests, and its height is 30 to 70 cm. The leaves are linear and rooted. From May to August, the flower stalks are extended and white bowl-shaped flowers bloom in the umbel. The petals are usually white, but can also be pale blue. The old genus name "Brodiaea" remains in the English name.
