このチューリップには学名がついていますが、自然界では見ることができません。これはオスマン帝国の遺物ではないかと思われています。チューリップ、とくにこのような針状の花被片は、アハメド三世のようなサルタンによって珍重されていました。アハメド三世の在位は１７０３〜１７３０年です。このチューリップは、ユニークな狭い黄色の花弁に、先端のスカーレットが目立つ原種です。高さは４０〜５０センチになります。

The Fire flame tulip (Tulipa acuminata) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). This tulip has a scientific name, but it cannot be seen in nature. This is believed to be a relic of the Ottoman Empire. Tulips, especially such needle-shaped tepals, were prized by sartans such as Ahmed III. The reign of Ahmed III is from 1703 to 1730. This tulip is an original species with a unique narrow yellow petal and a scarlet tip. The height will be 40 to 50 cm.
