ユーフォルビア・ホリダ (魁偉玉) [Index] [Back] 南アフリカの南部が原産です。柱状で基部から群生し、高さは７５センチ以上、直径１０センチほどになります。雌雄異株です。夏に小さな緑色から黄色の杯状花序をつけます。園芸上は「かいいぎょく（魁偉玉・怪偉玉）」と呼ばれます。 トウダイグサ科トウダイグサ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Euphorbia horrida。英名は African milk barrel。 The African milk barrel (Euphorbia horrida) belongs to Euphorbiaceae (the Spurge family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to southern South Africa. This herb is columnar and clumping at the bases. It can reach up to 75 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter.
