ユーフォルビア・プテロネウラ [Index] [Back] メキシコ南部のチアパス州からオアハカ州、ベラクルス州が原産です。多肉質の潅木で、高さは４０〜７０センチになります。茎は淡緑色でか細く、４〜６稜があり、棘のない枝がつきます。葉は長さ４センチほどの緑色で、早落性です。枝先に黄緑色の花を咲かせます。園芸上は、「せんぷうきりん（旋風麒麟）」と呼ばれます。 トウダイグサ科トウダイグサ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Euphorbia pteroneura。英名はありません。 The Euphorbia pteroneura belongs to Euphorbiaceae (the Spurge family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to Chiapas, Oaxaca and Veracruz of south Mexico. This shrub is succulent and can reach 40-70 cm in height. The stem is light green, slender and 4-6 angled with spineless branches. Leaves are green caducous 4 cm long.
