南アフリカが原産です。林縁や河川の茂み、渓谷などに生え、高さは５０〜２００センチになります。葉は滑らかで緑色、羽状に深裂します。です。頭花は黄色くて直径３〜４センチ、４月から１２月に長い花柄のうえに咲かせます。別名で「マーガレットコスモス」とも呼ばれます。 |

キク科ユリオプス属の常緑小低木で、学名は Euryops chrysanthemoides。英名は Golden shrub daisy、African bush daisy。 |

The Golden shrub daisy (Euryops chrysanthemoides) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to South Africa. This shrub grows on forest edges, in riverine bush and in ravines, and can reach 50-200 cm in height. The leaves are smooth, green, and divided into deep segments pinnately. The flower heads are yellow, 3-4 cm across, and bloom on the long peduncles from April to December. |
