The Golden shrub daisy (Euryops chrysanthemoides) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to South Africa. This shrub grows on forest edges, in riverine bush and in ravines, and can reach 50-200 cm in height. The leaves are smooth, green, and divided into deep segments pinnately. The flower heads are yellow, 3-4 cm across, and bloom on the long peduncles from April to December.
