わが国の本州、近畿地方以北に分布しています。山野に生え、高さは１〜１．５メートルになります。葉は広披針形から狭披針形で互生します。７月から８月ごろ、茎頂に芳香のある白色の花を咲かせます。花披片は反り返り、内側には黄色の条斑と赤褐色の斑点があります。 |

ユリ科ユリ属の多年草で、学名は Lilium auratum。英名はありません。 |

The "Yama-yuri" (Lilium auratum) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed northward from Kinki district of Honshu in Japan. This herb grows in fields and mountains and can reach 1-1.5 m in height. The leaves are broad lanceolate to narrow lanceolate and alternate. The fragrant white flowers come on the stem apices from July to August. The tepals are recurving with yellow stripes and reddish brown mottles on the inside surface. |
