"Yarinoho-kuriha-ran" (Colysis wrightii) belongs to the family Polypodiaceae. It is an evergreen fern that is distributed to southern Kyushu, the Southwest Islands of Japan, Taiwan, southern China and Viet Nam. This fern grows in montane wet forest floors and can reach about 30 cm in height. The rhizome is creeping long and come into lanceolate fronds, The fronds are entire and slightly waved with winged stalks. This fern forms linear sori (sponrangia bands). In Taiwanese Chinese, "萊氏線蕨".
