オーストラリアの東部から東南部、それにタスマニア島やニュージーランドに分布しています。食虫植物で、湿地などに生え、高さは４０〜５０センチほどになります。葉は線形で、捕虫葉はふつう４個に分かれます。多くの赤い腺毛があります。夏に長い花茎を伸ばして、白い花を咲かせます。

The Fork-leaved sundew (Drosera binata var. dichotoma) Droseraceae (the Sundew family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed from eastern to southeastern Australia, as well as Tasmania and New Zealand. It is a carnivorous plant that grows in wetlands and reaches a height of about 40 to 50 cm. The leaves are linear and the bladders are usually divided into four. Red glandular hairs stand out on the bladders. In summer, the long flower stalks are stretched to make white flowers bloom.
