ユッカ・ロストラータ [Index] [Back] テキサス州南部からメキシコ北部に分布しています。ふつうは単幹で成長は遅く、高さは３．６メートル以上になります。葉は線形で鋭利な先端があります。葉は枯れても幹に残ります。春の終わりから夏にかけて、花序をだして白色の花を咲かせます。 リュウゼツラン科イトラン属の常緑低木で、学名は Yucca rostrata。英名は Beaked yucca、Big Bend yucca。 The beaked yecca (Yucca rostrata) belongs to Agavaceae (the Agave family). It is a small evergreen tree that native to southern Texas and northern Mexico. This agave is typically with a single trunk, grows slowly and can reach up to 3.6 m in height. The leaves are linear with sharp tipped. They remain on the trunk after they die.
